Delete your account and data
This page describes how to delete your Invoicefinito account and associated personal data. Invoicefinito is published by 456Labs Inc. on Google Play and the Apple App Store under the same name. The steps below apply to our mobile apps on Android and iOS unless we tell you otherwise.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Invoicefinito and sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings (More tab) → Account → Delete account.
- Choose a reason (optional comment), review the confirmation, and tap Delete account.
- You will be signed out. Your account is deactivated immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion after 30 days.
- Changed your mind? Sign in again within 30 days and tap Restore account on the screen shown after sign-in.
Account deletion must be completed in the app while signed in. If you need help signing in (for example, password reset), contact hello@invoicefinito.com.
Disconnect a bank without deleting your account
If you linked a bank through our optional Plaid integration (Pro Max, United States and Canada), you can remove that connection without closing your Invoicefinito account:
- Open Settings → Bank connections.
- Select the bank and tap Disconnect, then confirm.
This revokes Plaid's access, removes the stored connection and server credentials on our side, and stops future transaction imports. Your full account and any previously imported transactions are removed when you delete your account as described above.
What we delete
When your account completes permanent deletion (after the 30-day grace period), we delete or anonymize:
- Your authentication record (your Firebase Authentication user used to sign in).
- Your app data in Cloud Firestore under your user account, including: clients; invoices and invoice view history; recurring invoice templates; business profile; invoice and payment settings; projects and tasks; time entries; expenses; subscription billing records; AI usage counters; push notification device tokens; bank connection summaries; and imported bank transactions.
-
Files in Firebase Cloud Storage for your account
(for example, invoice PDFs and receipt images under
users/<your user id>/). -
Plaid connection credentials stored server-side
(
plaidItems): we revoke Plaid access and delete these records. Bank login credentials were never stored by Invoicefinito. - Stripe Connect account (if you enabled online payments): we request deletion of the connected account associated with your business profile, where applicable.
During the 30-day grace period after in-app deletion, your data is retained so you can restore your account. While deactivated, you cannot use the app except to restore or sign out.
Some information you previously shared with others (for example, an invoice or PDF you sent by email or messaging) may still exist outside our systems; we cannot delete copies on third-party services or devices.
What we may keep and for how long
- Backups and replicas: Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited time while backup cycles expire. Typically this is on the order of up to 90 days after primary deletion, depending on our cloud provider’s backup and disaster-recovery retention. After that window, residual copies should no longer be restorable for ordinary operations.
- Legal and compliance: We may retain certain information where required by applicable law (for example, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations). When retention is required, we limit use to the purpose of compliance and apply appropriate safeguards.
- Aggregated or de-identified data: We may retain statistics or analytics that do not reasonably identify you, in line with our Privacy Policy and the policies of analytics providers we use.
-
Global app configuration: Non-personal documents
that apply to all users (such as shared invoice template metadata in
appConfig) are not part of your account and are not deleted as part of your personal deletion request. - Support and legal records: We may keep a minimal record of the fact that you contacted us and the outcome of your request, as needed to demonstrate compliance or resolve disputes.
Timing
- Deactivation is immediate when you delete your account in the app.
- Permanent deletion of active account data runs automatically after 30 calendar days, unless you restore the account during that window.
- Backups: residual copies in encrypted backups may persist for up to 90 days after primary deletion, as described above.
